The George Brazil Learning Academy is a paid 12-week apprenticeship program dedicated to training the next generation of HVAC technicians at our state-of-the-art learning facility in Phoenix, Arizona. State of the Art Facility
Train at Phoenix’s Most Advanced Training Facility
George Brazil has invested in our technicians by building the most modern, best-equipped training facility in the industry. Our 10,000 sq ft training center includes a 1,000 sq ft model home complete with attic space, ductwork, and fully functioning mechanical systems from the most popular manufacturers. We also have classrooms located on-site as well as six full-time instructors you can reach out to for assistance at any time. Here you’ll learn everything from how to walk safely on a roof to how to operate essential power tools. Along with our HVAC curriculum, we also teach general construction knowledge to give our technicians the best chance at success and safety in the field.

The George Brazil Learning Academy is much more than just a trade school. Individuals who do well here go on to become future technicians and installers at George Brazil Air Conditioning & Heating. Our graduates are considered full-fledged members of the George Brazil family, which means you’ll take part in the many community events we have to offer. Placement for Every Skill Level
George Brazil’s Learning Academy is for novices and skilled technicians alike. We readily fast-track individuals who show exceptional customer service ability and trade knowledge, and we compensate ALL levels, even during training!
Level One
Level One is a paid apprenticeship introducing the HVAC essentials. Level One prepares individuals to become the next generation of service technicians, installers, and field leads, combining both classroom time and fieldwork to give our students the best chance at success.
Estimated compensation: $20 to $25 per hour for up to 12 weeks.
Level Two
Our Level Two students have proven their worth and passed a rigorous skill assessment. They go on to become Maintenance Technicians for George Brazil, fine-tuning their craft and gaining valuable experience as the weeks go on.
Estimated compensation: $80,000 to $120,000 per year.
Level Three
Graduates of our Level Two program go on to become Service Technicians for George Brazil. This designation is both highly lucrative and rewarding for the individuals who make it this far.
Estimated compensation: $120,000 to $180,000 per year.
Level Four
Our Level Four Service Technicians receive some of the highest commissions anywhere in Arizona. They have proven their worth time and again as both technical experts and customer service professionals.
Estimated compensation: $180,000 to $300,000+ per year.
