About George Brazil Heating & Air Conditioning

Upholding the Legacy of a Customer Service Icon

In 1955, a young man named George Brazil started a small service company in California. His goal was to build an ethical business founded on the principles of honesty, integrity and reliability.

George committed himself to these values for the remainder of his life. It was his idea to make the iconic white shirt and slacks his company uniform, because back then the most trusted person that came to your house was the milkman. And he wanted to create that same feeling of trust when his technicians visited a customer's home.

In every respect, George Brazil succeeded. He created an experience – which today we call the "George Brazil Experience" – that we honor for every HVAC repair and installation we take on.

George's legacy is thriving thanks to the men and women who share his values

In 2009, Jim Probst took the helm of George Brazil Air Conditioning & Heating. Relying on the same values that George himself relied on, Jim grew the company to become Phoenix's most recognized and trusted HVAC brand. Almost overnight, the company went from employing a few dozen technicians to over 150.

So when we say there's a George Brazil truck right around the corner, we mean it! Our technicians perform hundreds of jobs every day across Phoenix, Gilbert, Tempe, Chandler and everywhere else in the Valley.

Teamwork and Trust Earn George Brazil a Torch Award

In 2019, after five years of applications and four years as Finalists, George Brazil Air Conditioning & Heating won the BBB's coveted Torch Award for Ethics in its employment category.

We believe this award validates everything we do here at George Brazil, from the expertise of our technicians to the excellent customer service of our in-house CSRs.

Most of all, it validates George's lifelong commitment to the values that guided his life: those of honesty, integrity, and reliability.
